As it has reached 5 years of existence, the York Rite in Romania awarded jubilee diploma to some public personalities. Sorin Rosca Stanescu, Director of ZIUA daily Newspaper is one of them. He was handed in the York Rite Medal by Stafan Masu, High Priest of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch in Romania. Some other personalities were awarded the same medal "as acknowledgement of faith and devotion to the country and to the Romanian people." (L.I.)
